Fresh Turmeric is really good for your body, you should consume Turmeric everyday, even if it is just a little bit. Turmeric has great healing properties and it’s great for the immune system and helps with digestion too. This by far has to be my favourite way to take Turmeric. The White Turmeric has a very Spicy and Sour taste, whereas the Yellow Turmeric is very serious Spicy burning sensation (in a good way) almost has Ginger notes. I often tell my Mum that I don’t mind if we don’t have certain things in our fridge but THIS we have to have. Always.
- Fresh Yellow & White Turmeric
- White Vinegar
Slice up the Turmeric, you can cut it into any shape you’d like.
Place the Turmeric into a Jar.
Add Salt and Sugar (depending on how much Turmeric you have, add little by little)
Add Vinegar (the Vinegar should be about 1/4-1/3 full at first.
Mix everything properly, make sure all the Salt and Sugar has been well dissolved.
Taste it. Yes you can taste it, just so you know if you need more Salt or Sugar and if you’d like to add more Vinegar.
Pop it into the fridge and leave it be for a 2 weeks (you can start eating it before, but it won’t taste as great the more you let it be, the more delicious it’ll taste)
