So, it’s 3rd week of March and Storm Gareth thinks it’s okay to stick around, which doesn’t make for great weather. The storm is one hell of a beast, so windy and chilly too. The last thing I want to look like is a mess, don’t get me wrong I like the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair to make me feel like some sort of Bollywood Star of Model, but…seriously?
I often think to myself, how crazy is this…something like the Weather can effect our mood and control our life. I simply refuse to go out when it’s ridiculously windy or when it’s raining.
Normally when the weather is as it is, any sane person would crave for some garma garam Chai and some Bhajiyas to go with it. Not me. I’m that crazy person who likes to consume things you would normally eat/drink in Summer.
So, one fine day I saw some Mango Pulp in the fridge, I also saw some Coconut Milk (canned) instantly I thought of Milkshake!! I haven’t had a Milkshake in months, normally it’s a Summery drink, Summer or no Summer, why wait?
I haven’t had a more creamier and rich Milkshake ever, I don’t think. This really does hit the spot and bonus is that it’s ready in minutes.
*I couldn’t take a picture of this shake because I kind of, sort of drank it all up, sorry 🙈*
- 500-600ml Coconut Milk (Boxed, I used Koko)
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk (Canned)
- 1/4 Cup Canned Mango Pulp (1/2 or a whole fresh soft juicy Mango chopped)
- Rose Syrup
- Ice Cream
- Basil Seeds/Chia Seeds (soaked over night)
- Vermicelli (soaked)
- Pop everything into a blender, and blend away.
It’s ready to Drink, Share and Enjoy.
