I think any meal isn’t complete without a cheeky helping of Pickle, which is meant to be good for you. Indian Pickles are a process of fermentation, which is really good for your gut, a little helping of it everyday is meant to keep your tummy happy.

There are so many different types of Pickles to name a few main ingredients that can be pickled are:

  • Chillies
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Turmeric
  • Green Mango
  • Lemon
  • Indian Gooseberry
  • Carrots
  • Aubergines (I know what you’re thinking, don’t worry I think the same too!)

I’ve only tried to Pickle a handful of these items but as time goes on I will experiment more, and let you know what works and what doesn’t.
